I hate that I’m even leaving this mediocre review. I love the store. I love the people that work at the store. I’ve always felt welcome. Coming to drop off my consignments or just come to just to see what they’ve had or ask some questions but lately I haven’t felt as comfortable coming in because the new lady in charge doesn’t make me feel welcome I’ve never had her say hi to me. She just kinda looks at me like I’m strange and walks off. I don’t feel really welcome that way. This is a small town business and store and I’ve never felt that way so it just break my heart to leave this kind of a review. I hope the lack of enthusiasm or to talk to me isn’t for anything I’ve done because if it is, I’m so sorry if I felt made her feel anyway anyway I really hope everyone gets back to being cheery and happy and welcoming because that’s why I love the store.

Found some cute pieces when we stopped in before dinner one late afternoon. Left them there though, due to the horrendous customer service. It was so bad, I don't even think it can be called "horrendous customer service", I think you should have to speak a minimum of one word to your customer, to be rated on customer service.

As much as I love this store, I question their ethical practices. Twice now I've dropped off items that I've seen on their sales floor that are not listed in my account as an item I should receive money for the sale of. This last time I made markings on the inner tags to track my items. Sure enough....today there were 5 of my items on the sales floor that are not in my account as items I should receive commission on. I did try to nicely ask about the process today because it's an awkward thing to address. I was told that it's better not to have them donate my items on my behalf that way I can see exactly what they took. While that's good advice, it still feels slimy that it's happening at all.

If you want to take clothes here, don't allow them to donate on your behalf. I had every intention of donating the items anyway (so it's not like I wanted them back). I'm just not okay with a company taking item they are going to "donate," just to resell and make 100% of the profits.

Perhaps it was an accident....twice. As the owner of this business, I'd be monitoring the intake process of your clothing a bit closer. Someone else is bound to notice the same thing happening to them eventually.

I used to really enjoy this store about two years ago. I’ve shopped many times and consigned. In the last year it’s been a little off putting walking through the door. This store has a style they accept, it’s very obvious when you first walk through the doors. So I only bring items that would match their style because I completely understand not wanting your consignment store to look like a thrift store.
I brought in a bag of items recently and some are actually tops I bought from them! They said they’d call me back and let me know how it went since I said not to donate what was left. They didn’t call… so three days later I came and picked up my clothes, they didn’t take a single thing. I was really surprised because half of them still had tags and they were all very popular brands. I didn’t bring anything that had been worn and they were actually all neutral colors. I was confused but I had done the same in the past and got the same results.
The atmosphere like other reviews have said.. is very off putting. The people are nice but it’s like you’re not accepted when you walk through the door. Very awkward right off the bat. That’s really why I’ve stopped shopping here.
Recently I took my bag of clothes that they rejected and brought them to Eugene with me. I went to one consigned called The Clothes Horse and she has some very cute items with resonable prices! She took 3 things and gave me cash for 16/store credit for 32. I bought $200 worth of clothes so it really added up for me. When I left there I went to another consigner near Voodoo doughnuts. Next to buffalo exchange. Her shop I will admit was interesting but she took all of it and gave me $65 cash. She’s currently moving downstairs and I don’t know if she will be open for the next few weeks but taking a trip down to Eugene was beyond worth it. I made more than 4-7 dollars like I would have with restyle. & I had a much better experience. These two stores I mentioned also don’t consign really, they sell buy and trade. So you won’t need to come back to pick up donations if you have any.
I love a small business. But this one no longer has my interest as I’m sure a lot of peoples

I agree that the customer service has declined and the energy is off. My last visit the two staff working looked at me as I came in, and immediately turned back to their conversation with one another without any acknowledgement or greeting. Later I asked a question about something I was looking for, they seemed irritated that I interrupted them. I give a fair amount of grace to anyone working with the public, but found the atmosphere to be off-putting and uncomfortable.
The store was well kept/styled, organized, and had some quality items in good condition. Prices sometimes a bit high for second hand, but not necessarily unreasonable for the brands and condition. However, I can find the same on Poshmark or in similar consignment shops for a better price and not feel unwelcomed while shopping. I prefer to shop local, but I doubt I'll be back.
