Stephen Winters is a skilled, accomplished craftsman. His work in repairing my vintage wing chair was all I could have asked for. It is wonderful to see the chair restored to its original sturdiness and functionality, and it looks great. I am grateful that such excellent work could be done so promptly. Stephen is an engaging person to talk with as well as being a master upholsterer.

We were pleased with our reupholstering. Stephen reupholstered our eight dining chairs and overstuffed chair & ottoman set. The overall quality and look are very good.

Discussions with Stephen on choice of fabrics and options including padding density and style of fabric were good.

The dining chairs are very nicely matched, with the tucks and folds uniform across all eight seats. With the highly dense foam we chose, the work was likely a bit more difficult.

The overstuffed chair is deeply folded and somewhat intricate. Again, the end-result is very nice.

We are happy to have the set back. Stephen has a rather large backlog, but communication with text was good. Once our scheduled time was open, the turn-around from our dropping the seats and chair off and return were fine. But be patient, and check that the delay due to his backlog meets with your needs. We found the results worth the wait.

We had Stephen completely restore a longtime family chair (4 generations and counting), and he did an amazing job. His attention to detail is exceptional. His work is measured and methodical and is absolutely worth the wait. We are very pleased with the results.

We recently had our couch and loveseat recovered by Steven at Winters Sewing. To say that we are happy would be an understatement.
