Very disappointed is an extreme understatement. My family has been going to O'Gallerie since I was a little kid. I had them sell items I had originally purchased from them. My guess is I had over 2000.00 in retail cost paid to them for these items not counting commission. There was a Stickley Desk (sold for 70.00), 3 piece set of parlor furniture , 2 chairs small chairs, wardrobe cabinet, oak 3 drawer file cabinet and a queen bed frame. They all sold for next to nothing... The charge for pick up was $542.50. Net proceeds after sale taking into account the pick up charge $-290.50. I would have thrown them out on the road for free or put them in my burn pile. Now I have to send them a check for 290.50.

I wanted to follow up with the end result. Tom responded to my email quickly and waved the 290.50 that I owed. I am still disappointed with the actual outcome of selling my items but that was for the most part beyond their control. So I have revised my review from 1 star to 3 stars.

I do NOT recommend anyone buying anything there. They are dealing dishonestly. I won one lot of the auction, before a few months, Immediately after auction, I contacted them, and I wanted to cancel my bid because they couldn't guarantee authenticity, and they did not accept returns. They want me to pay them auction fee, for what??????.I never received an item from them. In the next auction, they sold the same item someone. A few months later, after communication. I received a letter from them " If I didn't pay $563, they will send me to the credit union collector.

I have purchased several items over the years, always online however. It would be very nice to have more pictures and more measurements. I have avoided bidding many many times because there just wasn't enough information given and I wasn't willing to make a mistake.

Straight sale , no BS, the folks there super friendly, super helpful! They got it done on some very expense guitars. Hard to find folks that think out of the box and not on dumb dumb sheep-o-pilot. Five star business.

The items are FOB the auction house warehouse. That means it's free to pick up at the warehouse, any shipping is extra.
