after having my partners purse stolen at their store which was left in there care due company policy , we were verbally , physically and emotionally assualted , both my partner and i are handicapped and it pains me that i was forced to now defend what happened to my partner because the employes of the powell store decided to abuse us in such a way, i have emailed several times to almost every email found seeking assistance in this matter .From the facilating of the theft of her purse to the abuse of paying customers and believers of the cause this organization represents . these two employees that treated us in such a way defy what vincent depaul stands for in every single way.no one in this organization has addressed the issiue or our needs instead we were told to get out of the store and police trespass for a false claim by someone . when in fact this person mateo and amy abused the 911 system and falsely claimed a report and did this because they didn't want to accept the fact that they are 100 percent guilty of losing the purse and didn't like that we were holding them accountable . the fact is if the huge sign out front didn't require my partner to turn her bag in she would still have it . failure of management or this council to have a way to report this or to have anyone available to address this makes this complete group a failure and a fraud in every way

ST Vincents is the best period they do an amazing job serving clients and a lot of time they get alot of grief from rude clients that come in being demanding and being just rude we have to remember alot of these people that are there to serve us they are not getting paid so they are doing it out of the kindness of their hearts so maybe clients need to understand that they need to start being more greatful because I myself have the most respect for the individuals who serve us your attitude towards the staff is going to play a role in how your treated you can't go in there being rude and expect the workers to just smile and be nice you get back what you put out

I've been calling for 2 weeks and your booked for appointments by 9:29am and you don't open till 9:30am. How are you booked but not taking phone calls. This is a scam and your wasting your time. They do not take appointments just lies.

I tried to get assistance from this agency in Januray 2023 I was 8 months pregnant as well. I was looking for rental assistance because i was 10 days late on rent. The lady from Vincent said they rather me get evicted so they could "possibly" help with my next security deposit instead of helping me with my current rent. Wouldn't even give me the $200 in assistance they were giving to everyone else. Mind you, I'm a black woman so it already rubbed me the wrong way. These folks don''t do anything meaningful for the community lets be honest, just white people who THINK they're doing something.
