The staff at this store are incredible. I've purchased items through Ramon a couple of times now, and I can't express how helpful, thoughtful, and professional he is. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

The staff here was welcoming and helpful. Hazel helped us find an office set (a trio of chairs) and went the extra mile to put the dimensions into a CAD model (or something similar) to ensure they were a good fit visually before we purchased them. We had not even asked for this service, but it was much appreciated. Thank you! We love having a showroom in PDX.

I’m a firm believer in shopping local brick and mortar, not only so I can see and touch in person, but I LIKE stores and want them to stick round. End of speech. Came by here on 04-19-19 to see in person a dining table that had caught my eye online and first of all, the store is huge and gorgeous and what a treat to see so many beautifully designed pieces in the flesh—so to speak. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in and I told the gentleman (Joshua) the table I was interested in and he took me up to go see it. Once I saw the table I decided it was the one I wanted and told him I wanted to buy it, but one of the advantages of dealing with a real life human is he told me if I was not in a big hurry, Herman Miller was having a sale beginning at the start of the following month and he could literally put my order in midnight from home the day the sale begins to get it to the beginning of the shipping line and get it 7 to 10 days later. And save 15% and waive the $299 white glove delivery in the process. I wouldn’t have known that if the transaction happened on line. All in all, the transaction was quick and easy with the added bonus of getting a very nice savings in the process. I’m actually not a big shopper and I’m a big fan of relaxed, informed and quick transactions like today. Couple that with a truly beautiful show room that has so many gorgeous pieces you can actually see and touch and I give Design Within Reach high marks all around! Josh gets five stars too! I'll definitely be back when I'm ready to purchase some more furniture!

Ramon is awesome. He took the time to get to know our aesthetic and needs. Ramon could fix our government, because he was able to help me and my husband reach across the aisle and compromise.

The store was filled with super fancy things. Ramon showed us the entire range of price points, so I felt comfortable discussing affordability. He was very patient answering all my questions and letting us try out the furniture.

Called to confirm they had Herman Miller office chairs in stock and available to view and purchase. Was told yes! Clearly they have ZERO idea of what the general understanding of 'in stock' means. So I made the three plus hour round trip drive to be told 'NO you cant get one now it would have to be shipped from OHIO, we are just a showroom'. Absolute waste of my time and money!!! So much so I am now looking at other brands.. Side note: Their website does not in any way state this is just a showroom !!!!!

As you can see from their response below there is no acknowledgment that this is a poor approach. Maybe change your website to say this location is only a showroom and you will have to wait who knows how long for the product ???
