Mandy and her team at Rose City Upholstery did an amazing job on reupholstering a vintage chair of mine. Easy to work with, communicative and did a beautiful job on a great timeline! Highly recommend their work.

The problem: Six wobbly mid-century modern chairs in genteel disrepair, with worn mismatched fabric and not much cushion after 35 years. The solution: Rose City Upholstery and their excellent crafts people. If you are frugal, not cheap [I am not so rich that I can afford to buy cheap things] then look no further. Great value for a completely reasonable price. Workmanship was excellent, communication was excellent, and I am beyond delighted with the result. Now I have six solid chairs in beautiful fabric, comfy to sit in at last, solidly re-assembled. Even the chairs that didn't seem wobbly are somehow more solidly assembled. I am not a perfectionist, but I do have genuinely high standards and Rose City not only met them, they exceeded them. My only regret is that I don't have more furniture for them to work their magic on, I think they can do anything. If you are getting estimates make sure one of them is from Rose City, you won't regret it. I bet you choose them and will be delighted, just as I am. The best!

Rose City not only did a perfect job reupholstering my red Fritz Hansen Egg Chair, they repaired the broken tilt mechanism by rewelding the base plate. My highest recommendation, they are super communicative and very easy to work with.

Amazingly nice and attentive staff who understood exactly what my vision was. While other places quoted ridiculous prices and turnaround times, RCU finished a vintage stool top for $45 and completed it in 2 weeks. No additional charge for using my Pendleton fabric. I couldn't be happier with the outcome - it's beautiful. I'm definitely taking all my reupholstery projects to them.
