I just purchased a couch and recliner. The quality of the furniture is wonderful and the service is outstanding. My couch was a special order and it was delivered within the timeframe I was told. The delivery people were on time and very professional. I would highly recommend Downey Furniture.

Love Downey Furniture! They retail all LazyBoy stuff. My recliner is being delivered today! Decent prices, always attentive. Products with warranty, fabric guard. You can select from the showroom and pick up grades. From the owner to the staff, always great conversations. No horse and pony shows here. Thanks Angela!

Update a few weeks later I had to call to have chair fixed. Lazy Boy has changed the quality of springs and hardware under the fabric. Downey was right on it fixing the recliner with left over packing materials. It has never been the same since. With shortages in the supply chain you may wait 6 months or more for a replacement. Certainly not the quality they were known for. That’s not on the store but on Lazy Boy! I will never buy another Lazy Boy as long as I live. 😕

After ordering furniture from other stores and being disappointed, today we received our new chairs we ordered from Downey Furniture in The Dalles. We absolutely love our new Lazyboy chairs!! They were here on time, so so comfortable, and look very well made. Our salesperson wax awesome and did I mention how much we love the fabric? I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

My father misplaced his hearing aid and was adamant he had lost it in the recliner. This amazing company came to the house, looked for it, took the recliner down to the store and nearly disassembled the chair in search of the hearing aid (which was not in the chair). They brought the chair and did not charge us. Long story short, the cat took off with the hearing aid and batted it under the closet! This company exhibits exemplary customer service and will be a place we continue to purchase from and would highly recommend to family, friends, and acquaintance!
