100% will be back again, we really want to try one of the classes and are buying a mystery box as well! Staff greeted us and explained the store which was nice, as a whole they were very attentive and answered question. This place is so unique your bound to be curious about things and they had an anwser. Prices are very reasonable for thier taxidermy and holy cow do they have some unique pieces. We added a baby beaver to our collection who will be greatly cherished. Overall a great place to check out if your into more strange items.

Hands down my favorite shop in Portland! Such a cool store with very friendly & helpful staff. I love coming here sometimes just to look around! I especially love the emphasis on education and conservation. I took a bug pinning class here and will take more, everyone is so nice and I loved learning not just the art of bug pinning but some entomology and ways to help native pollinators

This place is sick ( I felt sick but also cool). I didn’t know what I was walking into when just exploring the local shops in this area. I was able to see things that I never saw before and I honestly don’t want to see again lol. However, I did purchase a spider keychain because my sons likes insects. But now every time I see it I scare myself 🙄

All in all, this place is very unique if you’re interested in these types of things. No judgement, just not for me personally.

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The attendant I talked to while looking at the jewelry was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. They helped recommend some other places in the area since I was visiting. Their selection of taxidermy is really good and the prices for it are quite reasonable. They had a fairly large selection between all of their categories. The jewelry was beautiful and curated nicely and was typically in the fine jewelry category. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a nice shop that has a different selection than typical.
