I do like the concept, as they have some very nice household items. BUT, the warehouse they are STORED in is dustry and dirty. So, ok if you're taking washable items, if not, you're getting bacteria, germs, mold and mildew in any furniture with fabric! Very unhealthy for recipents! Please, do consider keeping the warehouse clean! You can purchase large air filters ( anywhere, and in any price range) such as the ones in schools and libraries called *Air Scrubbers'! Esp post covid where the virus is still around along with MANY other viruses and bacteria. PLEASE out of respect for public health, keep the space where all of the items to be given away, and then are going INTO people's homes, is kept CLEAN! Just because people are low income / poor does NOT mean they should bc exposed to mold, dust mites, mildew, bacteria, etc.! Clean the items with visible dust & dirt, keep the floors and air clean, and most importantly, inspect and CLEAN any piece of upholstered furniture to be given away. You might say, you can't afford to keep things, the air and floors clean and I say, you CANT afford not to!!!!
Write grant or do a fundraising event if need be! But please don't keep spreading the germs, dust and mold that continue to keep people sick!!! Thank you!!!!
