As I entered the Jackman-Long Building at the Oregon State Fair, I was greeted by friendly fair staff, the Building was clean and the vendors were very nice.

The set up was for Covid-19 vaccine injections and it was very organized. Got to the building from the parking lot at 9 am and was done and out by 10 am. Great job of Salem health and the coast guard.👍

It is the place where Salem residents are getting their Covid 19 vaccinations right now. I got my first one today. Very smoothly organized with large numbers of the Oregon National Guard controlling traffic flow from start to finish.

Attended the Salem Junk Hunt. Less junk and more cool stuff. It is worth the drive and entrance fee to look at all of the cool stuff available. A good couple of hours spent browsing and shopping.

State Fair time means it is time for the shysters and hucksters to ply their wares as you walk past. I suppose it is worth it as there is the occasional free sample of popcorn, jerky or candy available. Also, a nice way to get out of the hot sun for a bit.
