This old leather sofa was headed for the dumpster after years of use at an animal shelter. Despite being well-loved by countless dogs, volunteers, and staff, it was still in great shape. I reached out to Michelle at Furniture Share to see if they could find it a new home. Her immediate 'Of course!' was so reassuring. It's a reminder that even furniture with a lot of history can continue to bring joy through Furniture Share. Remember, donate, don't dump!

I have volunteered with Furniture Share multiple times and had positive interactions with everyone who works there. Incredibly friendly staff! You can tell they genuinely care about their clients. Love all of the community work they do, and will continue to volunteer with this organization.

Furniture share is an AWESOME organization! Two of the delivery guys just picked up a couch from me that I wanted to donate and they both were SO nice I had to call the office and relay that to Ashley, who is beyond nice as well. They all deserve raises! :-). I hope this organization stays open for many years to come, they help so many people!

Prior to the great ice storm of 2024 I arranged with Furniture Share to donate a futon. When the storm impacted travel on the day the futon was to be picked up, Furniture Share quickly arranged for a day less than a week later. Today the futon was picked up. The pickup team was great, calling me about 20 minutes prior to their arrival. They handled the futon with care and were careful of our walls as they carried it out. One of the gentlemen mentioned to me that the futon was going to a new home at the next stop. I was so glad to hear that! Many thanks to Furniture Share for taking our donation and making it into a blessing for another family! A great experience from beginning to end.
