Kicks ass. Like a museum, like an episode of Antiques Roadshow, but you can actually buy it. (And probably even afford it)
Solid curtious staff that saw it my way.
Vibrant neighborhood.
Excellent Record collection.

The owner is incredibly rude and in fact seems to go out of his way to be. All negative reviews for the store are always specifically about him. I've witnessed him speaking in a degrading way publicly to employees while I was conversing with them, which is embarrassing for everyone. I myself have spent a good deal of money in that shop (at both locations) and gotten others to do so as well. I specifically went there to put some $$$ down on vintage MAD magazines (even though I could get them for less on Ebay but thought I would support his enterprise as I highly value such antique/thrift stores) when he spoke to me in a calculatedly rude manner about opening the bags to inspect their condition/content. I left (after over-reacting, I'm afraid.) because I was fed up with the bad manners that I have witnessed from him over the years. He doesn't seem to recognize a good customer when he sees one. Also, things don't move very quickly at that place. I wonder why? Honestly, he would probably make more money if he stayed in the back and left the customer service to others. P.S. I really liked his dog and he has a good jeweler there named Brian.

I had purchased an antique rotary phone that wasn't connecting to the landline and had an issue with hardware.... Called numerous "phone" places for help, and kept getting turned down.... Finally luck on my side and after a quick chat was encouraged to drop in. Thank God, these guys know their stuff!

Within the time I shopped around the store, Evan had my telephone fixed up and I had a VERY reasonable 30 min labor charge (as well as a few extra items that I found while browsing).

Truly, Justin and Evan are amazing and I highly recommend supporting this business.

The store itself is incredible (some of my favorite antiques have come from here) made even better by the guys that man the shop. So kind and helpful.
On top of that, they were able to fix an antique necklace of mine, for a very reasonable price.
Oh and let’s not forget the shop kitty.

Amazing! More stuff than I can even mention but I'll try. LOL vintage toys , jewelry, novelty items, stereo equipment and speakers, vintage hats and shoes, vintage cookware, furniture, lighting, musical instruments and books. Be sure to bring some quarters so you can try out the fortune teller machine, player piano, Love Tester and pinball machine in the back. My son and I spent over an hour here and we plan to come back soon! :-)
