About this business
Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon is here to provide an example and a means for community members to give and show charity. We operate a nonprofit thrift store where we provide high quality used goods to our local community. Then we use those funds to give back to our local community through acts of kindness.

My very top favorite regards to non profit thrift stores of all time. Pictured is Treats do sell and welcoming inclusive free community event was wonderful to attend . I have purchased high quality clothing and assesories a few times from them. I find the owner Liz and manager Jennifer including all the volunteers eager to assist in anything looking for. Liz seems dedicated to come up with events and special projects for community members without any discriminations.

I love this store! There are always new, fun things to look through, everything is in really nice condition and it is probably the cleanest secondhand store I’ve ever been in! As a nonprofit, the owners really care about the community and it shows in all the ways they give back—special events, free meals, support groups, holiday shopping days for local kids, etc. I love that there are multiple reasons to feel great about shopping here. 😊💕

It has been such an honor and a blessing watching this nonprofit grow! Liz and Grant and all the staff are kind helpful and knowledgeable! I have recommended so many people to here that I have lost count. Every time I come to visit La Grande, it’s one of my favorite stops to make. These people and this store are truly a blessing to Union County and beyond!

Liz and Grant run a very clean, organized, and welcoming shop! The volunteers and staff are always so nice, all the goods are of great quality and I love making the time to roam and find new treasure! Not to mention they are non-profit and do a lot of good in our community helping out where ever they can!

Everytime I have gone into this store im always greeted with a smile. Their items are quality and they check every electronic item they place on their shelves to make sure they are selling a working item. They host amazing events, like souptastic, where you get to enjoy homemade soup for free and a Never Alone support group on Wednesdays that just allows you to have community. SO thankful for this place in our town, they are doing BIG things!
