Me Plus a Million

Skip it! What an expensive store. There’s nothing thrifty about it. Does their average customer really want to pay $15 for used shoes? I’m very familiar with Yamhill County and must say that their pricing is out of touch with their demographic.

It wasn’t fun to look around and they close early. I didn’t find one single thing that interested me in the slightest. Not one. My friend noted that one of the items in kitchenwares was priced two dollars less than the store that it came from when it was brand new; it had the original tag still on the bottom. If there’s only a two dollar difference, what’s the point of buying it used? It makes no sense for customers who are already of limited means.

Usually a nice place but saw an elderly cashier be rude with a man who wanted to see if he could use all his change 85 cents to get three small items that would have added up to $1.75 and was rudely told no. I purchased a yard game set that was taped very well, I thought it was new but when I got home pieces were missing and I asked if I could just get in store credit and was told "No, it probably came that way" So, Im assuming they don't even take a cursory glance at donations?!?! Although Im sure they fully check purses and other items. So, From now on before I purchase Im opening packages to verify all components are there. You're welcome for the $10 donation!

Really love this thrift store such great prices but my one complaint is the stapling I’ve had so many things gets little holes over pulling the staples out.

This is one of the best thrift stores I have been to in Oregon. I found a food dehydrator for $5, and a vintage tackle box in excellent condition for $4. This store is easy to shop, nicely arranged and full of the good stuff. (Great jewelry section too)

I had a humiliating experience trying to donate clothes and toys- after calling ahead to make sure these items would be accepted. They didn’t even say hi but barked “two bags!” “Two bags!” over and over at me. Evidently I was supposed to understand that this meant that they would only take two bags of clothes. I told them that the bags were full of toys and clothes and they told me they wouldn’t take toys at all. I told them that I had just called and checked, and that the people on the phone told me my clothes and toys would be fine. I said I’d take my stuff to goodwill and started putting it all back in my car- then they started taking away the things I already told them I didn’t want to give them. They even had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a receipt. I will never give them another penny. Clearly they don’t want my help.
